hello.
ytd, went to put on braces.
hahaha..doesn't hurt when u put it on,
but when u try to bite,
its like, PAIN SEH!
cause my teeth, upper and bottom, are still crooked,
so cannot bite down too hard, otherwise, its gonna hurt,
and the appliances gonna break.
ytd and today, hadn't had much to eat.
can only eat soft food.
but its like i hate porridge? LOL.
so, i have been eating noodles with soup.
and i also dun like noodles with soup either.
i mean it tastes so bland.
HAHAHA.
Mum is a bit peeved at me,
cause everytime she ask me wad i want to eat,
my replies are either, i don't know, or, i want to eat this or that,
which are like not suitable for me at the current situation.
i can't chew, not now, maybe later.
if i chew, its like i'm courting death.
today, YANYAN was like eating CHOCOLATES IN FRONT OF ME!!!!
AHHHHH!!! TEMPTING!
hhahahaa.
then i was like, "HEY! Don't eat that in front of me, ok?"
kk. gtg now.
tmr working afternoon shift.

Argh.
feeling so irritated right now.
SOMEONE HELP ME OUT!
i hate lectures man. and big time.
i mean the lecturer speak so god darn soft,
even though she got a microphone,
and when she explains sth, the ink of her marker so faint la.
WTH. Have to strain my eyes just to see what she writing.
and the pple in the LT, not considerate at all seh.
talk, and talk and talk.
i oredi cannot hear wad the lecturer is saying,
still want to talk.
but luckily, next week i see the lecturer in practical class,
and she will explain some of the stuff we dun understand.
thank god.
AHHHHHH!
i am like so angry with Yanyan.
gotta chill.
she's still a kidult. gotta give her time to mature.
but still, AHHHHH!

hi..
can't sleep, so shall blog for a while i guess.
went to SGH early in the morning with MUM.
she needs to go there for her physiotherapy.
and we were late, but doesn't matter much.
after that, went for dental appointment,
first, at Level 2,
then waited for like 40 minutes,
before my Q.number flashed,
and then removed the stitches,
had the surgeon inspect, done,
and went to Level 4.
and then went in, put on some metallic bands,
or so they are called,
done in a jiffy, then went out to make payment.
then went shopping for a while,
and went back home, her legs haven't fully recover.
yeah. when i just had the bands,
they dun hurt that much.
now, it hurts.
and i'm still nt used to it, so didn't have much for dinner.

that i am so lucky to get so many MCs.
HAH.
U also want is it, then u go put ahead and extract some teeth of yrs,
and JUST-SO-HAPPEN yr doc only work on MON and TUES.
and yr DAD TOLD HIM TO GET THIS BRACES DONE AND OVER WITH ASAP.
wow, plus side is can skip school every so often.
irritating seh.
u think i like missing school?
for each lesson i missed, i have to go for make-up lessons.
HELLO? U think so easy is it.

stupid pple.
can hear the bunch of u gossiping behind my back already.
totally unsympathetic.
wondered why i even put in so much effort to stay in tat place.
why am i so stupid?
should have just quit there and then.
and i won't have to be so worried about all this and that.
can't even get a good rest.
yeah, shld go and work,
and keep coughing like hell, while scaring the customers away.
p.s-if u can't speak English, pls don't.
because at the rate u're going,
no one seemed to be able to understand what u are trying to say.

haven been feeling too well lately.
been coughing non-stop.
even the cough syrup doesn't seem to work so well.
and my stomach's been feeling very queasy.
1 of the medicine causes gastric discomfort,
but there's another for gastric,
and i did remember to take 1 after the other wad...
hmm..
and my mouth hurts.
can't laugh out loud for fear the stitches will break.
been sneezing a lot too.
will be removing the stitches on tuesday,
and then next, on the same day, would be getting ready for braces,
first step being putting on the wire.
wad imperfect timing.
sigh*

aloha.
ytd, went out early in the morning,
to NDC, for another operation to extract 3 more teeth.
went with Dad.
and he keep thinking i'm feeling anxious or depressed or sth,
cause on the way there, and before the op,
he keep repeating, 'Hey, dun worry too much ok? Its only a minor op.....'
and i am like, 'yeah yeah. i'm fine'
reached just before 9.15,
waited while the clerk called my name,
Dad foot the bill,
and then went into the waiting area, had temperature and all tat taken.
I remembered the doctor who took my temp.
from my previous operation.
hahaha. she's a very nice lady, very motherly too.
Changed into the operation gown, (which i detest most!)
then gt called, and Dr Elaine explained the procedures of today's op,
and some of the v.rare risks involved.
and also said, i'll be given v.strong painkillers.
which in the tiniest bit make me feel comforted.
although she looked kinda intimidating.
LOL.
the surgeon operating on me is Dr Lye.
and gt quite a few patients today.
so while waiting, read some of the magazines,
and then slept for a while.
maybe i didn't sleep at all, more like lying on the bed waiting for my turn.
then come 11 plus,
was waiting outside the op. theater.
and then went in.
lied down, had sth strapped around my arm,
and the doc asked if i preferred to have an injection or
breathe in some kind of gas to fall asleep,
of course i prefer to breathe in gas.
haha..i'm starting to develop a phobia for injections, Trypanophobia.
my description is getting abit sketchy. sorry abt that.
and then the next thing i know after breathing in that gas,
i heard someone telling me "Cheryl, its over already."
they always pronounce my name wrongly.
they keep pronouncing it as 'Cheryl'. its supposed to be Cherill.
tat's why i prefer pple calling me PEIPEI.
haha..my throat was like painful la,
then i keep thrashing around,
thinking back now, i feel so embarrassed.
and it's nt until she gave me some water, b4 i stopped.
and i thanked her, but i doubt she can decipher wad i'm trying to say,
since she went, its okay, its fine now.
and was wheeled out to the waiting area.
and just lied there, and was like asking myself,
'they didn't give me aesthetics meh?'
'should be got wad..but why still so pain.'
haha..then when feeling somewhat better,
sms-ed dad to pick me up.
then changed back to my own clothes, and just lied on the bed waiting.
can't sleep, cause the kid lying a few beds away was so noisy.
screaming.
although the curtains were drawed, but can hear his voice and
the parents trying to quieten him down.
Dad came, and went to collect medicine
while Dr Elaine came to check,
before giving the O-K for me to go home.
it started bleeding near the extraction site,
so i had to bite on a cotton gauze for at least half an hr.
and then took cab home,
changed, and then went to sleep straight away.
and didn't wake up until its almost 8.
quite hungry cause i have been fasting for 6 hrs before the scheduled time.
and just ate some soft food on the right side of the mouth.

HiHi!
this happened on the same day, but i separated it,
cause its 2 different subjects entirely,
and i think my previous entry was long enough.
yeah, went for my dental appointment with Dad today.
today, was to extract 1 teeth.
but the X-rays i had taken of my teeth,
showed some problems,
so the doc consulted his supervisor,
and see what she thinks.
yeah, and she thinks its good if i can extract 4 teeth, 2 on both sides,
left and right, up and down. symmetrical.
that's so that when i put on braces, there's space or sth like that.
went for another X-ray to confirm that i actually had a small teeth in my gum.
and then the doc went to get the dental surgeon to ask me,
whether i prefer General Aesthetics(GA) or Local Aesthetics(LA).
LA is just tat they're gonna inject into my gum, to numb the area,
while GA is i'll be asleep throughout the op.
yeah, i said LA.
Dad, of course thinks its a bad idea.
so, i got 5 teeth to extract, 4 on the outside, 1 inside.
but for today is 2 to extract only.
went down to the 2nd level,
while waiting for my turn,
fixed another appointment with the Co-ordinator.
and then went in for the extraction.
had 4 injections, or should i say 5?
this other doc poke wrong, and took it out,
and poke it in again.
for the injections, i can only say it felt terrible.
for today is on the right side,
so, 1 injection each for the right and left side of the gum,
and up and down.
the feeling was terrible of course.
like something burning ur gum or wad.
and then the doc begin the extraction.
now, this was worse.
shouldn't have looked at the equipment he was using.
it was scary, especially as he used it to pull my teeth out.
after the whole process, i was like still in shock.
then after feeling better, was asked to call Dad in.
and then told dad the things to watch out for.
no hot food, warm can. Hot food might cause bleeding to start again only.
so after feeling what it felt like, changed my mind.
my next appointment for the extraction is this thurs, 17/4,
and i changed from LA to GA.
hahaha..guess i have a v.low tolerance to pain after all.
dun laugh! go try it urself and u'll know.
seriously, putting on braces is such a pain.
even Mum agree with me.
have to extract so many teeth,
and cause of GA,
had to go for a blood test tmr.
but hopefully at the end of all this, i get to have a beautiful set of teeth!
haha..
wasn't looking forward to thursday.
though i had more or less know wad to expect,
(since i went for 1 operation b4, in 2004)
but still..
hahaha..

HAHAHAHA...haven been blogging lately.
been busy with school and work.
and i'm still nt used to school, have not adapted to the environment YET.
anyway, here goes:
My first day of school in ITE COLLEGE EAST weren't that fantastic.
LOL. i mean like really?
hahaha..sorry to be so crude abt it and all.
first, we sit in the Indoor sports hall for like god-knows-how-long,
and when we moved to the Function hall, for ice-breaking games,
my legs were like SUAN* la.
and then, yeah, went to play games.
sigh* only if they had play games that were more interactive.
one of the games we played is; Do you like your neighbour?
the person asking this qn will direct the qn to, lets say Girl A,
and then if Girl A say "No", the people on the right and left side will have to trade places,
and be quick, otherwise the person who asked the qn will take either one's places.
kinda like music chairs but different, but the concept is there.
and then the one left without a place have to repeat the qn at someone else,
and the same pattern goes on and on.
but for us, we just stand there waiting, waiting for one of the pple left standing, ask us.
so its like, B-O-R-I-N-G.
and the same few gt caught off-guard.
yeah, so the game ended.
and went to play ITE's version of AMAZING RACE.
and this, is even more boring.
the group too big, and hence its more difficult for everyone to be involved in the games.
yeah. and the CAMPUS IS LIKE HUGE!!!!!
so you can imagine my relief when the game is over,
and we went back to the starting point,
and after handing out prizes to the winning team, (Not us of course)
went for lunch with some of my classmates.
but i kept to myself most of the time. LOL.
Shy la, cannot help it. HAHAHA..jk.
just that i can't really catch what they were saying.
then rest of the day, BLAH BLAH BLAH. LOL.
2nd day,
went to school with PeiQi, JingMei and Hasanah.
hahaha..sorry peeps, was late.
lol. got hold up.
today better.
got briefing with Class advisor,
and then an hour later went for a talk in the auditorium,
whr, as embarrassing it may is, i keep dozing off in between. LOL.
and my CA is sitting right in front of me.
HAHAHAH..CAN'T HELP IT.
Lack of sleep.
after the talk, went for lunch with May,
then saw WeiSze, ChuYun and YingYing(dunno whether spelling correct a nt),
and went to the Japanese food stall to try out the food..
the chicken teriyaki rice bowl we had, was; no comments.
after eating, went to buy a pair of pants and a lab coat,
with May, (she haven't buy any of her uniforms yet)
then went to gather ard the foyer, before heading up to the hall,
for the CCA drive.
walked ard...and mentally make a list of the CCAs that i can consider trying.
May decided to join the badminton club, with her frens.
after we were done looking around,
(seriously, some of the pple manning the booths were slping. LOL)
went out to get some fresh air. HAHAHA.
no la. just went out cos inside a bit crowded, then saw May's frens.
hang ard for a while before moving out, and lean against the railings,
looking at the school band performing in the amphitheater.
and then went in to sign up for Dragon boat team,
initially i decide to do it online,
then the Bridge leader said its better to put your name down.
went in, and saw Xuelin and her fren (Shimin),
signing up for Dragon boat too!
LOL. that's good.
Shishi strongly disagree with me joining.
Maybe because up till now, i haven't show much of a inclination towards sport,
and now, Dragon boat. Maybe Archery too!

HEY!!!!!!!!!
woke up ard 11 plus..
phone ringing,
answered the phone, "Hello??", after a moment of exaggerated silence,
i shouted into the phone, "HELLO? HELLO? HELLO?!"
haha...thats because of the fact that i just woke up and
erm..i tend to be albeit grump after waking in the morning. =D
so i got irritated when i pick up the phone, and was like HELLO?
and nobody answered, before DAD say hello.
handled the phone to Mum after tat.
went back to sleep, then my phone started ringing soon after.
my voice albeit hoarse, then see, IMM POLAR.
zzzz...answered, HELLO?
Marlia: PeiPei, sorry ah.........
okay. no mood sleep.
went to brush teeth,
turn on comp, surfed the net,
bathed and then get ready to go out.
have a dental appointment later in the afternoon.
hahahahha..while on the way there, called my workplace..
and then reached.
meet dad at the waiting area.
then not long after, my turn to go in.
and then went into one of the cubicles,
and then sat down, and the doctor start explaining the risks of putting braces,
lalalalalala.
LOL. yeah. so today was to prepare to put on the braces and such.
and then the doc took photos of my teeth, took measurements,
and then made a mould of the structure of my teeth,
and then went for X-ray, and then back,
and then went to another doc to put filling in one of my teeth.
and then and then and then.
from i heard all this is like a coursework which cost ard 200 bucks.
expensive i koe. HAAHAHHAA.
yeah, next appointment will be to put a down-payment for the braces,
have a minor surgery to remove 1 pathetic tooth (GASPS*)
and put on a...i dunno. LOL.
anyway, yeah, tats about all.
and i will have braces on for abt 2 and a half yrs,
following that, i have to insert 1 plastic band ard my teeth, (lest they come loose)
for at least a month, and hopefully for the rest of life.
and my dad was like,
"Huh? Still have to put on a band? But i see some pple who used to have braces never put on."
yeah, the doc said its up to the individual, and some choose to put on only at night.
LOL.
Yanyan can still said this in such a sarcastic way.
GOOD WAD! U FIRST 2 WEEKS CAN ONLY EAT PORRIDGE, THEN CAN LOSE WEIGHT WAD!
and that's what she keep saying.
lose weight, when we talked about putting on braces after that.
ok. gtg now.

hello...
last tues, went East Coast Park to celebrate Fadila's birthday.
we took the wrong route and have to walk like god-knows-how-long to reach.
LOL.
Sorry everybardi, i overslept.
didn't know who went and switch off my alarm. :D
anyway had a nice day out with Caroline, Jingwen, Jianing, Huiting, Yeeling and Xuelin.
Hah..
tried to ride the kind of bicycle where 2 person can cycle together.
but failed, and ended up falling down. (sorry Huiting!)
then Huiting tried with Carol, and they managed to cycle!
Hah..well..i hadn't ride a bicycle since ages ago.
yeah..then after cycling around the park, headed back,
then Fadila cut the cake,
went to the beach and then went back.
We went for dinner at Clementi,
Xuelin introduced to us Botak Jones,
serving Western food.
Lol. Had a egg sandwich.
then went back.
